Quick tips on cord lengths.
If special wand/control lengths are required the customer must provide that information on their order. As you may know, there have been changes to ANSI standards. Please see a summary of the most significant changes as a result of the updates below.
Old Standards
“1 & 1/2” Aluminum Control Lengths PRIOR TO 8/6/18
4″ minimum lift cord control length
10″ minimum tilt cord control length
Blinds 37″ FBL or less with cord tilt will be 12″ tilt length
New Standards
•Cord Length will default to 1/3 of shade or blind height for all product lines at Springs
•Wand length will also be adjusted to closest cord length
•Longer cords and wands are available at no extra charge- you just have to enter the desired lengths!
