Today, the most requested window covering is the mesh solar shade. Our Premier chain and clutch operated mesh sun shade has replaced the old mini-blind as the most efficient and very low maintenance window covering product for offices, patient rooms, and classrooms.

Beside making our Premier SunShade at our factory in the West End in Pittsburgh, we partner with two top manufacturers in our industry: Mecho Shade, and Springs Window Fashions. The use of Solar Shades for Daylighting is critical to providing an energy efficient , productive work environment. Window shading controls the light, heat and cold.

We install Somfy motors in all of our motorized mesh shades. Somfy is the leading global manufacturer of strong, quiet motors with electronic and app controls for interior and exterior window coverings. Over 270 million users worldwide enjoy the more than 150 million motors produced since 1980. For more than four decades, Somfy engineers have designed products for both the commercial and residential markets to motorize window coverings such as mesh shades, wood blinds, and draperies. Somfy motorization systems are easily integrated with security, HVAC and lighting systems, providing total building automation. 

We are very proud to have worked with the Veterans Administration Health System at the Wade Park facility in Cleveland to install specially controlled motorized shades in the CARES consolidation building. We integrated our mesh shades with the “Sip n’ Puff” system allowing quadriplegic and certain paraplegic veterans to independently control the shades, and we worked wit the bed manufacturers to allow other severely disabled patients to move their shades with bed controls.
